Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development

We are seeking a Medical Director or Senior Medical Director in Clinical Development, based in the EU or US, to serve as the Clinical Lead for one or more oncology clinical trials. In this pivotal role, you will act as Clinical Lead for one or more oncology programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams in the EU and US. You will contribute to the strategic design, execution, and medical monitoring of clinical trials and play a key role in supporting regulatory interactions and advancing development programs across global markets.

This clinical-stage biotech organization is focused on advancing transformative immuno-oncology therapies that harness dual-targeting science to modulate both tumor signaling and the immune microenvironment. The lead program is a first-in-class bifunctional antibody currently in pivotal trials for solid tumors with high unmet need. The team combines deep scientific expertise with a mission-driven culture committed to delivering better outcomes for patients worldwide.

Position Responsibilities

Serve as the medical monitor for assigned oncology studies, overseeing clinical design, execution, data interpretation, and safety.
Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and patient safety protocols across all clinical activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing, quality, and translational sciences to coordinate and drive program objectives.
Provide scientific and clinical input into study-related materials, including informed consent forms (ICFs), clinical research forms (CRFs), statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and biomarker strategies.

Support regulatory document preparation including clinical sections of INDs, CTAs, safety reports, and responses to health authorities and ethics committees.
Contribute to the development of Target Product Profiles (TPP) and Clinical Development Plans (CDP).
Participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific collaborations with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders.
Drive program strategy toward clinical milestones and potential regulatory submissions in targeted patient populations.
