The Senior Director, Toxicology plays a crucial role within preclinical development teams, focusing on the strategic planning and execution of nonclinical safety plans from late discovery stages through early clinical studies. This role supports the development of investigational therapeutics, including targeted antibodies conjugated with oligonucleotide and protein payloads aimed at treating serious neuromuscular diseases.

This position requires a deep understanding of regulatory guidelines as they pertain to nonclinical safety for novel therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, managing, and evaluating results from exploratory and GLP-compliant toxicology studies, as well as authoring and reviewing regulatory documents. A background in toxicology assessments for therapeutic antibodies and/or oligonucleotides is essential. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication of complex data are key components of this role.
